This was an assignment for my digital illustration class. The assignment was to make a paper doll complete with stand.

I wanted to do a wrestling character that would represent different eras and styles of wrestling with its outfits.

I made a racially ambiguous man to place the wrestling gear on so that way it was more easy to look right in the diverse costumes. I made a costume representing a luchador, a leotard representing golden age wrestling, and ring gear for a modern wrestler complete with championship belt.

I learned how powerful separate layers can be. I had no trouble making these outfits on different layers so nothing got mixed up.
